Kristin Drohan at Twelve Chairs (sorry about the grainy iPhone pic!)

Last week, a bunch of us Boston design bloggers got together at the hip and stylish Twelve Chairs in Boston to celebrate the launch of the new Kristin Drohan Collection. Kristin is an interior designer who was living here in Massachusetts but has recently moved down to Georgia. Her furniture collection - all made in America and eco-friendly - has been growing by leaps and bounds. It was so great to see her and get to know more about her collection and processes!

Here are a few of my favorites from Kristin's collection:

The John Bed - canopy optional.

Kristin has recently started offering reclaimed woods as part of their mix. Any items ordered using reclaimed woods comes with a provenance card. Customers have the option of using either reclaimed wood or sustainably harvested kiln dried wood for the same cost.

Kathryn Bar Stool - is available in a choice of five seat colors and three linen patterns.

Here is a video Kristin has made about her fabulous cushions and use of reclaimed woods used in their furniture designs:

A big thanks to Miggy and Roisin of Twelve Chairs for hosting a wonderful party. While many of us live in the Boston area, we're still pretty spread out with folks coming in from all over the state and we don't often get to see one another IRL.

If you would like my help on your design project, I would love to chat with you! Please email me. Thanks! Subscribe to ::Surroundings::
