A few years ago, I worked for an upholstery workroom doing marketing and helping retail customers select fabrics for upholstery projects. Along with homeowner clients, the workroom also catered to interior decorators and designers. One of the most important things I learned on the job was the importance of communication between designers and fabricators - and how often little details could cause delays and mistakes in the workroom.
